As you have gathered by now, I begin a lot of My articles with the official definition of words (according to Merriam-Websters Unabridged
Dictionary) becuase I want to clearly transmit My intention and purpose for using a particular word. Also, the meaning of many words have become
lost or confused by overuse or misuse. In this case the words sustainability, sustainable, or sustain have many meanings. So, the
official definition of "sustain" is"
1) to provide for the support or maintenance of : supply with sustenance : NOURISH 2) a : to cause to continue (as in existence or a
certain state or in force or intensity) : to keep up especially without interruption, diminution, or flagging : MAINTAIN, PROLONG.
I have emphasized the text above in bold to highlight the term "maintanance". I will come back to that word in a bit. For now I want to
pose a question to both Masters and slaves: Have you given any thought to how the Master/slave relationship is sustained over a long
period of time. And, what is considered a long period of time?
A serious search for a Master or a slave will involve the contemplation about how you, individually, plan to sustain your focus on being
who and what you claim to be. If you are a slave; how do imagine you will sustain a relationship with a Master? If you are a Master, how
do you imagine that you will sustain a relationship with your slave? As a Master, if you believe, or imagine that you do not need to
know anything about sustaining a relationship with your slave then you will never be a successful Master. As a slave, if you imagine that
all you have to do is to do everything your Master asks of you and that will be enough to sustain the relationship; think again, it won't.
As a Master, if all you think you need to do is order your slave around and keep him busy to sustain the slave, then you will not be Master
to that slave for very long.
Back to the word "maintenance". Re-reading the definition above, you will notice the use of phrases such as; "provide for the support" ;
"supply with sustenance"; "to cause to continue" and "to keep up". In the case of the Master and slave these phrases
are universally exchangeable. Meaning that they can be applied to either Oneself or to the other. A Master certainly provides many of
these things to a slave, and the slave provides services to his Master. However, both Master and slave have a larger responsibility to T/themselves
to provide these things in order to sustain or maintain a relationship.
Many Masters and slaves (too many these days) first meet on the Internet. Most of the time the initial conversation is all about sex, even
though it may only be merely implied. Making any serious attempt to find a Master or a slave when really horny is like grocery
shopping when you are really hungry...you are not in control of yourself and then end up buying something you do not need or did not really want.
Horny men will say almost anything once they become caught in the net of their own sexual heat. Beginning a Master/slave relationship based on
something as superfluous or shallow as good looks, big dick, tight ass, etc., etc., is a big mistake. Of course, you might get lucky and end
up with the perfect Master or slave for yourself. But, trust Me on this one: I would rather take My chances of winning the lottery in Argentina than
on happening upon the perfect slave.
A Master's Contribution to Sustainability
It should be obvious to the trained eye that a Master has the capacity to sustain the ownership of a slave. I do not mean financially, althought that
might be a consideration. Specifically, a Master's ability to be able to sustain the ownership of a slave means that He has the ability to
