| Justifying slavery |
Definition: Justification
justify |
Whenever I am interested in a particular slave, which is not very often, at some point I will talk with them over the phone.
I have noticed that all the slaves I speak to seem to feel that it is necessary to justfiy their slavery. I am not sure if
they do this for My benefit or their's. What I mean by justify is that many, not all, slaves, launch into explanations of why
they are a slave. I am not complaining in any way. I appreciate it, very much, when a slave offers such information to Me. The
slave provides Me with valuable insight into who they are and how they came to reach the conclusion that they are a slave. However,
I find that a lot of slave's struggle with their attempts to describe or explain why they are a slave.
I have a different point of view that may (or may not) help certain slaves come to a rational explanation of the reasons why they
are the way they are. However, I warn the reader, My viewpoint may appear to be a bit avante garde.
An explanation of the justification of slavery is no different from that of the jstification of why one is a Master. The explanation
encompasses the ideas of Quantum Physics and such philosophies as Tibetan Buddhism and Ancient Egyptian. This process of explanation
is, of course, My own theories based on what I have come to know of the science of energy, and the aforementioned philosophies.
All three of the areas above comingle or have certain things in common and are interrelated. It is through observation, rationale and study that I have
come to the conclusions I have. In order to wrap your heads around My theories you will have to open your mind to a certain flow of
logic and allow yourself to think outside of the box; which may include your social, religious and cultural training.
First I will begin with Quantum Physics which states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed.
"The conservation of energy is a fundamental concept of physics along with the conservation of mass and the conservation of momentum. Within some problem domain, the amount of energy remains constant and energy is neither created nor destroyed. Energy can be converted from one form to another (potential energy can be converted to kinetic energy) but the total energy within the domain remains fixed." N.A.S.A. - Laws of Conservation of Energy
*("the bodily fluids regarded as an internal environment in which the cells of the body are nourished and maintained in a state of equilibrium"-Merriam-Webster Unabridged Medical Dictionary 2011) Although interesting, you may be wondering what any of this has to with why one person gravtitates toward slavery and another toward being a Master. Of course this can be applied to whether a person is wired as a submissive or a dominant personality. The answer is coming, I promise but it will take a bit more explanation. I use the example of the electroencephalogram to highlight the fact that human thoughts are made of energy. Remember energy can neither be created or destroyed. In other words, all energy has always existed. It cannot be created and it cannot be destroyed? Since human thoughts are made of energy and can not be destroyed then where do they go when we die? What happens to all the accumulated thoughts that make up our experiences; our emotions and our memories? Another thought provoking question is that why are humans so accepting of the misbelief that the energy that creates our thoughts and memories merely dissolves into thin air when the body dies? Alternatively we are willing accept that all "other" energy, like a tree that falls and decays in the forest merely transforms into another form of energy. Humans can split and atom and create a nuclear explosion that transoforms the energy released by the atom into other energy. We accept all of those facts about energy but somehow cannot wrap out heads around the fact that human thought IS energy that it cannot be created and cannot be destroyed. In other words that energy always existed and will always exist. We bring our accumulated thoughts and memories with us. With us? With us where, you might be asking? Ancient Egyptian philosophy teaches us that the human is composed of three levels of beingness. The lowest form of our spiritual being is the ego. Next is the Personal Witnesss; that part of our spirit self that records all of the memeories and lessons we have learned in our lives. Then there is the higher Spiritual Witness that is likened to our superconsciousness, of which we are not generally aware. Buddhist philosophy teaches us that the human body is the vehicle in which we experience human life but that the body is not us. Putting these together with the facts of Quantum Physics I mentioned earlier it is easier to understand that when the human body dies the energy that forms or contains the accumulated thoughts and memories we have gathered over a lifetime remain with us. The energy is maintained into the next life. Now, we may not remember things like the name of our dog or cat; these are not the sorts of things that represent the energy that we maintain; the experiences of life we have gathered. The experiences that we have gathered or accumulated, in large part, defines the path we will likely take in the next life. There are not many examples that we can point to that provides evidence of this; of what people call past life experiences. However, I believe that the best evidence we have, of which there are many examples, are indivduals such as Mozart, for instance. At the age of around three years old he was writing music. He had not been on the planet long enough to have learned such an advanced level of the understanding of music...yet, how was he able to write music at such an early age? I beleive the prodigies of the world are as good as any example that humans bring certain things with them into each life they live. The Dalai Lama stated in a book he wrote that the time between each human birth is around two hundered years. Well, let's say for shits and giggles that this is true. It would certainly explain why humans gravitate toward certain things. While it is true, of course, that we learn certain things from our environments and culture we gre up in. However, there are certain in-born life experiences that seem to come from nowhere. For instance, in My own case, I did not grow up in a musical fmaily at all. Yet, since the age of three I could play the piano. I have never had a piano lesson in My life. I cannot even read music, yet I can emulate a Rachmaninoff piano concerto (to some degree). Where did that come from? So, My theory is that accumulated life experiences explain why certain gay males gravitate toward slavery and others to Mastery. Well, in any event it is as good an explanation as any. This just happens to be My theory. The whole point of all of this is to try and provide some explanation for the reason why we are attracted to the things we are. Many true Masters and slaves find T/themselves being torn between social and family culture and their inner calling. Regardless of how many times they try and avoid being who they are; being true to their inner natures; they keep coming back to the same nagging feeling that draws them to either the dominant life of a Master or the submissive life of a slave. For many slaves the struggle is sometimes more intense. It is not only difficult to be a slave in this society but it is also looked down upon by many people, even in the gay community. There are many slaves who have the feeling that they are somehow not a part of this world, that they are not meant for what others consider freedom. Freedom to them is being owned and being of service to another Man that they consider superior to themselves in many ways. The true slave as well as the true Master are often heard to say that they do nto feel as though they really have a choice of who they are. For Me personally, I cannot fathom being a slave. I would make a terrible slave. This does not mean that I do not understand slaves. On the contrary, that is My job and My responsibility. How I learn about slaves is by being aware, keeping My mind open, being flexible enough to listen and be observant of a slave. I do not need to know the intricate internal workings of a computer to learn how to use it effectively. It is the same when it comes to understanding and being able to use a slave effectively. However, the more a Master understands about slaves in general makes life easier for both Himself and the slave that gives itself to his Master.Dominance and submission is all around us. The entire Universe is a model of duality. The Eastern philosophies such as Buddhism teach, that there is an opposition and combination of the universe's two basic principles of yin and yang, which is a large part of the Taoist philosophy. Some of the common associations with yin and yang, respectively, are: male and female, light and dark, active and passive, motion and stillness. Whether one refers to the employer/employee relationship or most other human relationships, there is a structure of heirarchy that exists. So it is true that in most human relationships as well as facets of the material world, there exists a natural dualism. The Master/slave relationship is but only one such example of the nature of dualism. Opposites attract. There could be no dark without light; dark would not exist, neither would the concept of light. These are all examples of the natural occurances of dualism. Okay, so I will try and tie all of this together. But first, I want to interject this thought. Currently the social and cultural structure of most of the world attempts to dictate what is acceptable and what is not acceptable regarding human nature and human behavior. While I am against certain moral crimes such as murder, I do believe that the current paradigm (para-dime)* is not correct or conducive to real happiness, harmony, personal freedom or compassion. While on the one hand I do not believe this means that any of us should give to to utter licentiousness or anarchy, I do think that manking in general has gone too far in its attempts to force conformity on the masses. An individual is who they are inside and out. If it makes a person happy to eat a salami sandwhich while having sex, then DO THAT! No one human should ever be in a place to dictate to another human being what is acceptable and what is not. It is all just ego and is simply wrong. *paradigm: a pattern, a model, example, to show side by side, compare, exhibit. A social pattern, a social model. Bottom line is there is really no necessity to justify who and what you are (at least to this Master) and least of all to yourself. Wondering whether the way you are is right or acceptable is only causing yourself harm. What and who you are is your birth right. If you are a slave, then be a slave. If you are a Master then be a Master. Find out what you need to do to be the best that you can be in all facets of life but especially with that part of your life that makes you the most happy; the most together; the most grounded or the most connected. That is the most important thing. Trying to live up to someone elses idea of what is right or wrong, good or bad, acceptable or not acceptable is simply wrong. No one can live your life and you cannot know anyone elses life experience. That would mean that you would have to live that persons life and that is not possible. What and who you are may not be completely clear to you right away and that is alright. However, you DO know what you are attracted to and you can listen to the inner voice that directs you toward or away from something. Listen to that inner voice becuase that is the secret core of who and what you are and you are perfect and were right from the beginning. FOCUS When a slave is considering offering itslef to a Master the strongest emotions a slave will encounter is fear. It is fear of the unknown. Fear in its own abilities to change its life. Fear of its own abilities to serve. While these are all natural tendencies this emotion can cripple a slave. The first thing, unfortunately, that a slave will do is to employ its brain using rationale to try and deal with the fear. This is not a correct. The End © Master Rick, Reno, Nevada 2011 |
