ARE you a slave?

I am a Master with many years experience. My experiences were not alwyas easy to incorporate into My life. One thing I have come to learn is that it is common for Masters to be woefully uninformed about slaves and for slaves to be woefully ignorant as to who they really are. However, I have written this for both Masters and slaves. This article describes the various types of slaves I have encountered in My career as a Master. Of course, I understand that not everyone is going to agree with this article. My intent is not one of positionality, rather it is merely a description of My observations of the types of slaves that a Master is likely to encounter. Hopefully this article helps the natural slave to discover himself. Everyone has their own perception of what a slave is...the various slave types I describe below are mine.

"Are you a slave?" A simple question to ask but not one that is so easily answered. The word slave conjures all sorts of perceptions. For some the word brings to mind all sorts of distasteful things. If the perceiver has been steeped in religious beliefs they are likely to produce the mental image of a person of unfortunate circumstances that has been taken advantage of by some more powerful individual or society. These certainly exist. For some the word creates images of unwilling prisoners.

The Master and slave arrangement is all around us in society. Everyone, in some way is a slave to something or someone. However they are not willing slaves, rather they are unwitting slaves to various political views, social and cultural views and religious dogma. Not that this is a new concept, these have been around since mankind’s invention of the social structure, industry and material ownership.

There is another kind of slave that most people would deny the existence of; the natural born slave. The natural born slave is not all that difficult to identify. These are men and women who are born with amplified tendencies of submissiveness; however submissiveness alone does not make a slave. And in this world there exists an underground social group of equal partners to the natural slave and these are the natural Masters. The reference to ‘Masters’ is specifically in the masculine sense of the meaning of the word: Although, the masculine reference interchangeable to both sides of the feminine.

Just having a submissive nature is not enough to call oneself a slave. Although submissiveness is a definite characteristic trait of a slave what sets these men apart from those called "subs" is the fact that these men have an almost inborn desire; a deep need; to completely give their self over into a relationship that could be termed indentured slavery. These men go beyond the desire to be submissive...they want to be owned and controlled by a man with dominant personality characteristics who will literally takes over their lives.

Identifying the true slave in this world merely takes a person whose awareness is a bit more astute than others. Submissive men are somewhat more common in this day and age due to the fact that the current social, political and religious structure of society teaches conformity rather than originality. This is particularly true in the United States where laws and social programs are designed with the specific intent of creating and causing conformity for the purpose of ease of management of its populous.

The purpose of this article is to pinpoint a specific type of slave; one more rare today than ever. This type of slave is the individual who truly desires, above all else, subjugation to a Master and not an individual who identifies themselves as a Dom. This individual is not so easily identified because society views such individuals as weak and helpless which does not fit into the current paradigm of acceptable behavior. These individuals find it necessary to live relatively solitary lives because society does not accept people who want to be completely free from the world, which is what these slaves dream of. Freedom of a different kind? Freedom to be exactly who they are.

What Is An Authentic slave?

Some slaves have difficulty discerning whether they really are a slave or not. This is due in part to the ideas, perceptions and concepts of what is considered by the world to be normal. Submission is not something that society is generally okay with, let alone slavery. We are all taught that we should be leaders, masters of our destinies and take life by the horns and tame it. However, this is something that is not inherently possible for the true submissive slave. Because of the pressure of society the true submissive slave lives a pseudo-sort of reality. On the one hand they have a nagging inner sense that something incremental to their happiness is missing in their lives. On the other hand, they are forced to live in a world where open submission in the form of slavery, especially sexual submission, is not accepted as normal.

For many male slaves their only hope is to advertise on a Web site that caters to Dominant and submissive people searching for one another. For gay Masters and slaves the only recourse is to advertise on a Master/slave Web site in order to find one another. This article focuses on the Master/slave submissive, or simply the male slave.

How does the gay male slave discover his true identity? When does the gay male submissive cross the barrier from doubt to understanding? How does the gay male submissive come to a rational realization that he is a slave? What is the difference between a submissive and slave; is there one? These are all important questions that all submissive people, at one time or another, have asked themselves or at the least, wondered about. This article attempts to answer these questions logically and posits various theories for the submissive to consider.

A slave's Mortal Enemy: EGO

"What is the difference between a submissive and a slave?" That question can be expanded to: "What is the difference between a male that is submissive but does not consider himself a slave and the submissive that considers himself a slave?" There are many individuals who possess submissive characteristics in their personality. There are many Dominant men who exhibit a certain amount of submissiveness in their personalities; however the most significant difference is that the characteristics of submissiveness do not dominate their personalities as it does in the true slave.

The active factor of the true slave is the differences that exist within the slave's ego structure. The true slave has difficulty being aggressive; unforgiving; and uncompassionate, which are all ego factors which drive the Dominant person. The true slave expresses their deepest desires through that of giving of themselves and usually unconditionally. Conditional submission is merely an aggressive ego in disguise; ego with an agenda or ulterior motive. True slaves will avoid negativity at all costs. These individuals develop (over time) a natural distance from the world; its greed and its possessions. True slaves often forgo opinionation; the judgment of right versus wrong and the vanity of being right and they avoid the traps of self-righteousness. A true slave is in need of giving themselves in order to feel that they are fulfilling their purpose in the world. The true salve does not have the desire for position but rather has a need for no position in relation to the One he has given himself to.

The world does not understand that the surrender and sacrifice of the slave is substituting vanity for humility. The true salve relinquishes the vanities of opinionatedness and judgementalism which are merely errors of the perception of the ego. The true salave naturally lets go of the self-referential term "I" as a normal habit of thinking. Thus the hold of the narcissistic core of the ego is naturally lessened. In fact most true submissives prefer to refer to themselves as "it" and use the pronouns "he" and "him" and the lower case "i" or simply refer to themselves as "the slave." A central characteristic of the true slave is that of the use of impersonal statements which prevents them from becoming personally embroiled in surrounding issues that demand opinion.

So then, what is the difference between the individual that refers to himself as a submissive from one who identifies with the impersonal "itself" or simply "slave?" There are many Web sites on the Internet that cater to the submissive and the slave alike. Subscribers to these sites seek different things, but predominantly they are seeking a relationship with an individual who identifies themselves as the opposite of what they are: A submissive person seeking a dominant person. Some of the submissive subscribers who identify themselves as a boi/boy are seeking a Daddy, or men who feel comfortable taking the role of a father-like figure in the submissives life. Generally the "son" or boi type of submissive wants more freedom than a slave.

Then there are those subscribers that are specifically seeking a dominant person known as a Master. The label “Master” denotes a person who retains and in many instances demands total control in his relationships. This article will not go into the characteristics of people who identify themselves as Masters. However, it is important to understand the distinction between someone that identifies himself as a submissive and the individual that identifies and labels himself a slave.

Limitations Define Possibilities and Freedom

The true slave thrives on the limitations set for him by his Master. This individual truly desires limited possibilities. Why? The true slave generally finds living in the world to be somewhat of a burden. Although there are many slaves that have responsible positions in the work-a-day world, their soul has a yearning to surrender themselves. Throughout My career and training as a Master I have come into contact with just about ever type of slave there is. While every slave has their certain procliviites; likes and dislikes, the following definitions are basic to the types of slaves that I have identified. Following is a systematic discussion of the different types of persons who identify themselves as slaves.

slave Type 1 - Sex slaves

Slave Type I is an individual who chooses to label himself as a slave for purely sexual reasons. This individual commonly holds a regular full time job and may own their own home and generally has little or no difficulty handling the responsibilities of their own lives. These slaves may have employment positions of great responsibility and dominate over other people, such as law enforcement, military, executives or other form of dominant employment positions. Although living lives that differ little from the rest of the world at large, these men derive great sexual satisfaction from surrendering themselves, in varying degrees, to a sexually dominant man. The release of sexual tension for these people is limited in greater degree to occasional encounters with a man that will dominate them sexually. However, when the sex is over, their lives continue as usual. In many ways these people use slavery as an alternate form of diversion or distraction from their day-to-day lives. In actuality these men are not slaves at all. They may advertsie themselves as a slave on sites like Recon, Adam4Adam, Collar Me or slave4Master, but they are actually submissives. A submissive is such becuase he volunteers to be a submissive to a Dominant, which means he has a choice. A slave does not have a choice.

Everyone seeks a release from the stresses and obligations of living in this world. The greater the levels of responsibility for this type of occasional slave, the more intense their need for activity that involves an intense physical release. Men who are not slaves, or desire to submit sexually to a dominant man, may seek massage, tennis, racquetball, bike riding or even fantasy masturbation. However, the occasional sex slaves are more likely to arrange for a night or a weekend of total sexual submission. It is not necessarily always the case that these occasional slaves will arrange for sexual dominant activity. They may make arrangements to simply surrender themselves to the whims and wishes of a dominant man for cleaning and perhaps other domestic task that may or may not involve some verbal debasement or physical abuse. This activity serves as a diversion and temporarily focuses their thoughts away from their worldly responsibilities and stresses. These occasional slaves find a peace and tranquility which prepares them for their return to their usual day-to-day lives.(Masters seeking such a slave should make it clear that this is the type of arrangement they are looking for; as should the occasional slave looking for a temporary slave arrangement with a dominant or a Master.)

slave Type 2 - slaves to Ego

This type of slave is the most complex of all slaves, for these individuals are caught between two worlds. On the one side they desire to conform and live their lives as a total slave, but they are caught up in the inability to control their own egos. These slaves generally live chaotic lives and have many different Master’s in the course of their lives.

It can confidently be stated that almost all experienced Masters have had dealings with this type of slave only to discover the immense amount of work involved. These individuals are enamored with the idea of totally submitting to a Master. However, when the rubber meets the road, these slaves frequently exhibit fragile egos, disrupted lives, addiction and multiple attempts at serving a Master with many inconsistencies in their own abilities.

It is not that these individuals lack the desire to live a life of surrender and service; they simply have great difficulty overcoming the importance of their own egos. These slaves constantly struggle between the ideas of total subjugation and their own opinions. Slaves such as this frequently place more value in their own illusions and fantasies. Not that this is purposely intended, it is more of a condition of not being able to control their own egos. Often times when they actually find themselves involved in a Master/slave arrangement they discover how difficult it is to suppress their opinions, wants and desires causing not only themselves great suffering but everyone else around them.

These slaves lack the understanding that a total submissive is one in which has a spiritual commitment to himself. There are blatant and obvious visible differences between the total submissive and the Type II slave. The most obvious is the slaves inability to harness his ego. This will be evidenced when the slave gets swept away with his own ego and is unable to stop the wave of emotion of need to express himself.

In life these slaves attempt to find relief from their inner struggle by becoming involved in social causes and functions. These slaves find themselves frequently involved in political causes. While being totally committed to themselves, their own perceptions, opinions and concepts, which define their motives, they seek only those dominants that they feel are worthy of them. It goes without saying that these individuals battle is within them because while desiring the life of a committed slave, they find it difficult to do so unless they can manipulate their dominant man without detection. these slaves are very adept at hiding their true personalities at the outset. Eventually they will become a problem for the unwitting Master. It is evident that the Type II slave has a specific set of standards which are in a great degree generated from their own perceptions which is dictated by their ego. Suffice-it-to-say, the Type II slave would do well to seek a relationship with a more aggressive Daddy-type that would allow the slave more freedom than a total slave.

The Type II slave often will place advertisements for a dominant or a Master using words such as "seeking a Master that will not take no for an answer", or alternately states that he is seeking a no-nonsense Master that will be strong enough to keep the slave in line in other words forced submission. This type of slave who seeks forced control clearly understands, but may not be able to vocalize such, that he is incapable of controlling his own ego, which feeds his opinions and desires.

It is not unusual for this type of slave to attempt to manipulate situations to get what he wants. It is common that this type of slave harbors specific and definite ulterior motives. His desire to totally submit is often clouded by his ulterior motives which are fueled by his uncontrollable ego. Although this slave may not outwardly let his ego show, it is there nonetheless and very strong. The slave may find a willing Master or dominant to fulfill his desires, however, in the back of his mind he knows where the door is. Rather than allow a dominant or a Master the possibility of teaching the slave that he is safe and cared for, the slave will always hold back that total commitment that he imagines he is capable of. These salves will test the Master at every turn and watch a Master intently, not for the purpose of learning but for the sheer game of catching the Master's weaknesses to form his opinions and gather to his arsenal any reasons that he could use in the future that will justify his eventual release from the Master. In this way the slave always has reasons to place the blame of failure on the Master rather than himself.

These slaves rely absolutely on influences outside of themselves. These slaves will squarely place the responsibility of their own submission onto someone else. Slaves that must rely on the outside influence of a Master in order to serve are a lot of work for a Master. They lack the total capacity for self-discipline and self-control that most Masters look for in a slave. Again, in this way, when the slave fails in his attempts to succeed as a total slave, he has someone to blame…the dominant or the Master. It goes without saying that these slaves have little appreciation and understanding of being accountable to oneself. In other words deep down inside they lack the natural spiritual commitment of a total slave. It also applies that these slaves will almost always choose an illusion over reality because they are so attached to their egos that the illusion seems more real to them then actual reality.

The Type 2 slave will also attempt to predict the future. Not truly adventurous, they make decisions based on their own imagined projections. These imagined projections are creations of their own making; they totally believe the stories they tell themselves. It is a fact that many of these slaves suffer from Narcissistic Personality Disorder (Reference 1 | Reference 2; they are simply unable to see the world in terms of being a part of themselves rather they feel separate from the world, so much so that everything evolves around them, everything is about them and they demand almost constant attention in order to feel connected.Another way to describe this is that everything that happens in their lives and the lives of others close to them in some way is always about them.

The reason that these individuals have such difficulty is because they do not know that human consciousness does not miss a single speck of life’s experiences; all is to be accounted for and taken responsibility for: Nothing goes unnoticed or unrecorded. It is not very efficient to battle one’s demons with will power, when the willpower is dictated by an unrestrained ego. Many slaves reading this will disagree with this explanation because everyone wants to believe they fit into some group, category or genre. Everyone wants to wear a label, whether or not they are willing to admit it. As it stands, indignation, even righteous indignation is not beyond the grasp or theatre of the Type II slave. These slaves live in a world of dualism; stark opposites and battles between will and desire. The Type II slave will frequently change his standards in order to suit his desire to find a dominant or Master: The things they talk about from one Master to another are not likely to be consistent. In other words they lack a certain genuineness and change their stories to match what they perceive the Master wants to hear. Needless to say, these slaves can be very manipulative and if they are they are very, very good at it.

Transcending negatives is very difficult for the Type II slave due to the fact that they harbor such definite opinions about various things in life. Often times these slaves will use different sets of standards and focus their energies onto the vanities of ego and aggrandizement of their accomplishments as a slave. Opposite of the natural slave, the Type II slave cannot sacrifice the prospect of egocentric gain, even if such is imagined, and subordinate himself to the concept of a permanent arrangement with a dominant or Master. That which is only an illusion is chosen over that which is of true value, but truly much of the time they are so embroiled with their own egos that they cannot tell the difference.

A natural, true slave, unlike the Type II slave, will always transcend the negatives in its life by merely choosing the opposite. The Type II slave cannot make that choice because he is so attached to his opinions and beliefs, which are a manifestation of his ego, which determines his motives. For the natural slave, his own internal discipline, which stems from a passionate commitment, negative choices are no longer seen as options: he is his own conscientious objector. This occurs within the natural slave as a consequence of natural discipline of his ego and as a consequence of believing in his own submissiveness to a degree that it could be considered a spiritual goal that he values above all else.

Although the type II slave views his slavery as a priority, he also has many other priorities in life. This slave may also have a profession and maintains ties to his family, friends and acquaintances and will readily discuss Master/slave arrangements and relationships. His interaction with Masters regarding a relationship is more of a bargaining session than anything else. Master/slave arrangements with these slaves seldom last because these slaves become easily bored with their situation. The lack of control of their lives begins to wear on them and they seek to manipulate their Masters into gaining more freedoms.

This slave will allow the Master to think it is choosing the slave, when in reality the opposite is true. These slaves choose their Masters and it is these slaves who make the ultimate decision to end the relationship. Unfortunately the Type II slave is the most common slave available to most Masters on the Internet today. The reason for this is due to a complexity of social training from the slave’s family, customs, traditions as well as the same influences from the slaves chosen environment.

Many Type II slaves find that their lives lack a certain amount of control so they attempt to control their own lives by adhering to very rigid self-imposed rules, rigid schedules, rigid beliefs, rigid opinions and rigid thinking. These slaves can readily perform like a natural slave when the situation calls for it but it is not real, it is merely a performance which is turned on a moment’s notice from the ego. These slaves know full well that they can influence others by their performances, however what they say is not what they believe: What they really say is what they think YOU believe.

None of this is to say that the Type II slave cannot find fulfillment with a dominant or a Master. However, these individuals would do well to subjugate their egos enough to be genuine. A sure mark of Type II slave is the individual who interrupts a dominant or Master in order to get his point across because he truly believes his point of view has merit. He does not stop to realize that the Master may not give a damn about his point of view or the Master did not give the slave permission to voice his opinion. These slaves will almost always forget to ask permission to speak; rather they are usually in the habit of blurting things out. The reason is clearly that he believes that his point is far more important and valid than anyone’s. Another revealing thing about these slaves is that are found to constantly be apologizing to the Master after the fact; after the deed is done and after the seed of their doing has been planted. It is sort of like someone giving some testimony before a jury that is not allowed and the Judge instructs the jury to strike that testimony from their minds. Words spoken can never be unspoken.

Sounds like a real dichotomy; well it is , which is why these individuals have such difficulty settling down. Again, it is not inconceivable that these individuals cannot find success in a Master/slave relationship. However, the dominant or Master would have to be quick witted and understand the special needs of this type of slave. Many Masters find themselves embroiled with the Type II slave, believing at the outset that they were acquiring a true, natural submissive. The reason is because most likely the slave held himself out as such, claiming in his advertisements that he seeks a total control, no choice, total ownership; no-nonsense Master who would not take “no” for an answer; that they seriously seek a Master that will provide the slave with the ultimate structure for the slave’s life. The slave actually believes the things he states in his advertisement. However, when the slave’s words are tested to the degree in which he has represented himself, he cannot stand and will cause not only himself a great deal of disappointment, but will always cause difficulty for the dominant or the Master.

A Master that finds himself involved with such a slave or suspects that he is dealing with a Type II slave, the Master should take a great deal of time communicating with this person. If the Master is able to control his own ego, his own desires and takes the time necessary to uncover some of the slave’s weaknesses, two things will happen: 1) the slave will break down and become disinterested because he feels that the Master is a threat to his ego, his beliefs and opinions, which he cannot tolerate; 2) the slave will acquiesce to the Master and be forthright about his characteristics and personality. The Master must be acutely attuned to words the slave uses to describe himself and be able to read between the lines. The Master, if he is adept at reading slaves, may find that he has a good candidate. Otherwise, proceed with caution.

slave Type 3 - Natural of Authentic slave

The word that best describes these individuals is providence, another word might be destiny. I chose to use the word providence because in short the definition of it is "A powerful force that causes events. A powerful force that some people believe causes everything that happens to us." These are what I call authentic slaves. I consider these to be men naturally born as slaves. How can this be? Are people actually born to be slaves in a literal sense of the meaning of the word? In short the answer is yes. These are people who, as children may have been somewhat shy and removed from the rest of children. They were naturally quiet and have always possessed a sense of being different and removed from the world. as children they may have had a natural proclivity to want to be of assistance to their parents. These were the children who always seemed to be underfoot becuase they wanted to help. These individuals are acutely aware they do not quite fit into the scheme of the world. As adults they find themselves somewhat isolated, not particularly social and at times suffer from loneliness. Their only solace is to live in a world of fantasy, harboring true desires to be owned or at the very least in service to a dominant individual.

At times this slave will also be quite intelligent and quite possibly well educated. To the world, these slaves appear to be the picture of confidence and may in fact be able to handle their own lives quite well. However, they live two lives; the one of their desires and dreams and the one they must present to the world. In the mind of the Type III slave, it is perfectly normal for him to have fantasies of being separated from the world; perfectly comfortable visualizing not having to be employed but being kept and cared for. It is completely normal for the Type III slave to subjugate his life in service to his owner. He has no difficulty envisioning himself as a thing or an "it" because he is not as attached to his own ego as the Type II slave is. This is the type of slave that the Type II slave wants to be, but cannot tame his ego. People who know or who have befriended these slaves are pften times confused by the slave's lack of ego; his calmness and his good nature. It is perplexing to others that someone could actually be so selfless, but the type 3 slave is just that. Compliments regarding his character are almost disturbing to this slave and makes them feel uncomfortable. When these slaves say that they are merely an "it" or a piece of property on this planet to serve someone else, they clearly understand this and accept this part of their personalities without judgment. They literally feel that they are less than most people and they like it there.

For the Type III slave handing his life over to a trusted Master is closer to a spiritual decision than a decision motivated by ego. All this slave seeks is complete fulfillment of his destiny. When this slave makes the statement that he is willing to disappear from the world or that he is willing to surrender all control of his life over to a trusted Master, he truly means it. This slave's character is filled with a calling to his destiny. Generally he conducts his life with a kind of spiritual aspiration. He is socially humble but has a real need to be of service to people and dreams of serving a dominant yet caring man that he respects and trusts. He is a true devotee to his destiny. Sexually he fantasizes about being completely submissive to a powerful man who has his respect. When the Type III slave encounters his destiny in a man he instinctively knows he can trust, he will not hold anything back and give of himself without hesitation. This slave will feel a sense of fulfillment and peace of mind just from submitting his mind and body to his Sir. Even the phrase, 'his Sir' makes him well up with a sense of duty and pride.

Not all human beings are born to be free. This statement is of course against the paradigm of this world and especially this nation; considering that our Constitution deems slavery as an affront to God (Which seems odd to Me since many of the Bibles Patriarcs owned slaves Genesis 16:1-3, 15-16, 17, 21:1-2 "Then Abraham took his son Ishmael and all the slaves born in his house or bought with his money...). So even Abraham, once of the most revered charactes of the Bible owned slaves, even, as the verse states; "slaves...bought with his own money." The patriarchs, like the other rich chieftains of their day, owned slaves. But the slaves of the patriarchs were treated well and more like members of the extended family than property. Their living standard probably was far higher than most of the unattached poor. They enjoyed adequate food and shelter plus freedom from the fear of marauding nomads. In addition, the legal documents of that day (Nuzi Tablets) make it clear that slaves had many rights, including recourse to the law when they were mistreated.However, the Constitution was written at a time when the subjugation and enslavement of persons who did not want to be slaves took place. This dogma does not include and cannot include those who are convinced that their destiny is consensual slavery. The Type III slave understands this completely and furthermore doesn't even entertain the idea that he is giving up anything at all but that he is gaining freedom.

Type III slaves post ads that are generally simple in construction. The meaning of the words they use to advertise themselves is defined by the context which determines their motives, which in turn can be found to be honest and forthright. To be realistic, the Type III slave must take into account that to choose to follow his destiny and devote his life to that destiny in this society is uncommon and very rare. It will most likely be this type of slave that will exhibit the most courage in order to follow his own convictions. The goal in society is to succeed in the world which can be measured in terms of material possessions. The Type III slave has little need for material possessions and generally owns very little. The Type III slave does not feel comfortable operating in the linear world with its prevailing perceptions of what is success and what is not. He does not think in terms of what he can gain; he naturally thinks in terms of how he can serve becuase he knows that it is his purpose.

The Type III slave is driven by a spiritual sense of his need to serve. Of course there are many examples of this type of submissive persons like this in the world. However, for the purpose of this discussion, it is the individual that has a deep sense of the fact that he is a slave, not merely a submissive. His concept of slavery can only be one of total surrender, which is of what he secretly dreams. His world is less dominated by dualism and dualistic thinking because his ego is naturally suppressed. He is truly and feels at times that he is an oddity in the world.

The Type III slave craves authoritarian structure and can find it difficult to move about and live in present society. Generally they avoid expressing their opinions about things and remain uninvolved in the causes and issues of the day. These slaves understand to some degree that, to them, the exceptional life for them is surrender to a more powerful man. Their idea of an exceptional life is surrender which motivates their deepest beliefs and attitudes. These slaves are truly spiritual inspirations to themselves. There is no sudden shift of attitude about their lives. These slaves will frequently state that they have been the way they are for as long as they can remember.

It is not unusual for these slaves to have very little debt, barely any obligations; they are not investors in a material future and may not own a car or a cell phone. They live their lives in accordance with their destiny, always. This is where they feel comfortable. However, when a slave of this nature becomes inspired to follow his destiny and decide to become more dedicated to fulfilling their calling, their lives are not affected as much as that of the Type II slave, because they are already living the life of surrender.

These slaves confound people in today's society. People do not realize how much of a spiritual aspirant these slaves can be. Their willingness to give up everything to follow some invisible; inner calling, is inconceivable to most people, even the Type II slave, who secretly admires these individuals. Because these slaves are so oriented to their invisible goals, it seems to the ordinary world that the person may have gone mad, insane, or is merely trying to ‘escaper reality’. Family and friends may become angry and resentful at the seeming desertion and rejection of the very goals for which the world strives. But this does not deter the Type III slave because his happiness and survival depends on his ability to fulfill his destiny. These slaves will scrutinize a Master that they are interested in becuase they know that when they give themselves to a Master they will do so whole heartedly and there will be no turning back so they must "feel" that the Master they give themselves to is the right Master.

This slave often times feels like an orphaned child, just waiting to be claimed by a trusted dominant male whom he can look up to and serve with pride and inner joy. If this type of slave is lucky enough to discover a good match, a dominant man that understands the slave’s needs, then this slave will likely utterly worship the man he serves. The one caveat when dealing with a Type III slave is you must earn his trust. A feeling of trust is the first thing this slave looks for. Unlike the Type II slave, who focuses on and places more emphasis on the satisfaction of his own ego, the Type III slave has no desire to protect his ego. The Type III slave is by far more interested in finding a dominant man that is powerful, that he feels totally free giving himself to, and that, above all, he can trust. Genuineness is everything to this slave. The Master considering a Type III slave would do well to take his time and get to know the slave. The Master must reassure this slave due to the fact that this slaves heart is delicate and prone to disappointment. As a rule, these slaves rarely feel disappointment in a Master or a dominant if things don't work out; they always put the blame on themselves for not being able to measure up.

It is commonly the case that the Type III slave will claim that he is not sure if he is worthy of such a wonderful Master. This is not false humility. This is truly how this slave feels. Remember, this slaves ego is not overinflated so he is unlike the Type II slave that wonders whether the Master is good enough for him. A Master who is conversing with a Type III slave must be clear and not waiver from His determination to own the slave and he must be clear to let the slave know what His intentions are, powerfully and right up front. These slaves are the only type of slave that needs to know that You will take nothing less than total surrender and total domination for this slave must have a total power exchange with the Master in order to feel complete. A Type III slave that exposes weakness or wishy-washiness in a Master will quickly disregard the Master because the Master has not proven to the slave that he is powerful and that He means what He says. A Master considering such a slave must be completely honest and open.  

 

Type III slaves are cautious when it comes to surrendering themselves to a dominant Master because once this slave does so, he WANTS it to be a success; he does not want to fail. Remember that this slave wants this more than you do; it is his deepest desire and permeates every cell of his body. He wants to be the cherished possession of the dominant man he has come to respect. This slave will exhibit the same faithfulness, devotion and unconditional love that a pet dog does. So it is extremely important for the Master pursuing the Type III slave to be ready to own and take responsibility for such a treasure because these slaves are very rare and truly can be considered a treasure. Just a word of caution to Master's that find themselves communicating with this type of slave: DO NOT attempt to appeal to this slaves ego, it will do no good. In fact it will quickly turn this slave off. This slave does not succumb to the same pitfalls as the Type II slave does with regard to ego. The only way this slave will respond to praise is if he feels he has truly earned it. One of the curious characteristics of the Type 3 slave is that because of their seelfles nature and lack of desire for material posessions, they will serve thier Master in a transparent way. Meaning that you can count on them being open about everything, including their thoughts...good or bad. These slaves will actually pay attention and educate themselves with regard to how he can best serve his Master. These slaves will do whatever it takes to make sure that all your "i's" are dotted and "t's" are crossed.

There are many types of individuals in the world. Not everyone that considers themselves to be a slave is going fit neatly into one of the slave categories above. However, individuals who consider themselves to be slaves will come close to one or the other of the categories. It is for you to decide which one. Interestingly enough, comparing the three slave types to the idea of finding which slave type you come closest to, the Type I slave will readily see himself as that type of slave. The Type II slave will be the only slave who will try to squeeze himself into the Type III category because his over active ego will not allow him to be a Type II slave. The Type III slave will be in quiet awe that someone else, besides a slave, understands how he feels. He will also easily recognize himself in the Type III category.)

 

slave Type 4 - Internet slaves

Type IV slaves are those slaves who have not yet made the decision to live the life they dream of. These tend to be older slaves that have established lives. These slaves tantalize themselves with fantasies by posting their profiles on the Internet with no real intent of becoming owned by a Master. The Internet ads are merely a part of their overall fantasy existence. These are what I call the Internet slaves.

Many of these slaves may be caught in a marriage or a relationship. They are either trapped in their current life situation or they are not courageous enough to try their hand at serving, even for a weekend. Like the Type II slave, they are enamored with the concept of submitting themselves to a dominant man. They may even have attempted to set up a dominant scene a few times when they are out of town only to cancel at the last minute. These slaves will play the Internet game with a Master, but this is part of their fantasy. After the conversation is over and they have had their share of verbal dominance by a Master on the Internet they will retire to their safe place and masturbate furiously to the image of the Master they were talking to in the Internet.

These slaves pose a problem for Masters that are genuinely seeking a slave because they will take up a great deal of a Master's time while fulfilling their fantasies and ultimately string the Master along. Alternately, they may have their fix with you and move on to another Master on another site, or change their profiles on the site they met you on. The only true thing that these slaves lack is courage to make that final decision to act on what they dream of. When they do they will need a Master that can handle a novice slave and bring them along teaching them slowly and giving them plenty of sexual entertainment. This type of slave is not acutally a slave at all but merely a sub who likes to ither have sex with or fantasize about sex with a dominant male or a Master. However, If a Master makes the decision to take on a slave such as this he can find, with proper training, that this slave will end up being a model slave. It will be touch and go for a while.

slave Type 5 - The Inexperienced slave (Newbie)

The Type V slave is an interesting beast. Type V's are marked by the fact that they advertise themselves as "novice" or "newbie" slaves. These slaves have no real age group, they can be as young as 18 and as old as well...old. The interesting facet of these slaves is that theyhave made the move, the conscious decision, that they are slaves and they are ready to seek a Master. They are just unsure of themselves and unsure of what type of Master they will do well with.

These slaves have a fairly good idea of what they want in a Master and are willing to explore. Some Masters do not want to take on a novice slave because it means a lot of work. However, this is not always the case. The novice slave is usually quite flexible and has not obtained some of the bad habits from being on the market for a while. These slaves are perfect for training. However, the warning to both Masters and slaves is to make sure that communication is clear and genuine. Some Masters can overwhelm a novice slave by moving too quickly or demanding too much from the slave. These slaves have already thought out their desires fairly well. This is especially true of the older slave. Consider the older novice slave who, after many years of living an established life, having capitol responsibilities such as a home, car payments, etc., they finally make the decision to follow their hearts. This is not a decision that is easily made by the older novice slave. These slaves will move with a bit more caution because they have been used to living a certain life for many years. However, once these individuals have made the move and decided to follow their calling, they will move in a decisive and methodical manner to wrap up their affairs and prepare themselves for serving a Master. This is not to say that these slaves do all of this without trepidation or concern for their decision. This is a big move for them and a Master must take that into consideration. Many novice slaves will pull out of a deal before it ever has a chance. If this happens the slave is unlikely to contact the same Master again; mostly out of embarrassment.

One very important caveat for all Masters regardless of the type of slave He is dealing with; if Your specific intent is to acquire a slave and You begin the process by talking about nothing but sex and fantasy, You jeopardize getting a slave You do not really want. Also, sex talk, bondage talk and the like can be extremely misleading at the beginning of a conversation. If the slave becomes bored or disinterested because You want to talk about serious things rather then the "fun" stuff, then this is not a slave that wants a long-term commitment...you would do well to wrap it up quickly and move on. The older novice slave wants to hear the "fun" stuff too, however they are more likely to listen intently to the serious stuff because they are in a position of changing their entire lives . It is important that the Master considering such a slave mix His communication with a little"fun" stuff every now and again.

One of the most important things to this Type of slave is the initial visits. Make arrangements for the slave to visit You on a weekend or some time that is convenient for both You and the slave. When the slave arrives at Your home it is not recommended that the Master do anything differently than His normal activity. Masters can give a novice slave the wrong impression from the start if the Master seeks to entertain the slave. This includes sex. Masters who make it a habit of using the slave (test driving the slave) sexually before the slave has actually earned anything is not a good idea. If You want to use the slave when it arrives at Your home, then set the slave up with some task, before it arrives, that will let the slave know he has earned the first BDSM session.

A word of caution. Too many Masters make the mistake with this Type of slave particularly, of changing their normal routine when the slave arrives at the Master's home for his initial visit. You want the slave to experience life as usual from the outset. This is not some vacation for the slave, he is coming to present himself to You. Changing Your normal routine will give the slave the wrong impression. If the Master decides He wants to acquire the slave, the slave may have a very rude awakening when it comes time to experience life in his Master's home when it turns out to be nothing like what he experienced the first time he visited. Do not fall prey to entertaining a slave while he is visiting. This Type of slave needs to know what is real. Any put on by a Master will sour in the stomach of this slave when it has returned to its own home and has a chance to think. The best thing to do when this slave arrives is put him in bondage, chains or whatever your method is, and have him perform duties that You will expect of him. Have the slave cook the meals and clean up. If You watch movies on the weekend, plunk the slave at Your feet, gagged and watch the movie. Do not do anything that You would not normally due.

Another extremely important factor with this slave is, once You have decided that You want this slave, DO NOT GIVE THE SLAVE ANY CHOICES! This is very important for this Type of slave. The slave needs to know that it is wanted. Having a Master, that he respects, announce that He is taking possession of the slave is enormous for these slaves because in that one moment You have fulfilled a lifetime of dreams and desires. As a Master, these slaves want you to take a stand. Of course, it would be a good idea to let the slave know what Your intentions may be. That the slave has no choice. If You come to the conclusion that the slave is what You want, then take it. These slaves will be very grateful to You for that.

If you have announced to this type of slave that You are taking this slave, it will not likely back down. If it does, there is something wrong and the Master needs to uncover it. Generally these slaves will follow through because they are more reliable than most other Types of slaves. One important rule that a Master must do with this Type of slave; secure something of the slave before it leaves. Something that is important to the slave, something personal that the slave cannot be without. This serves as a symbolic bond between You and the slave. When this Type of slave willingly hands you his cell phone, or car keys, or something the slave must sacrifice, he is sealing his commitment with You. This is important.

This Type of slave craves the symbolism of being owned; of subjugating himself to "his" Master. Just the words "his" Master, thrills him in some way. The symbolism of the slaves commitment; that he has succeeded and can actually say, "his" or "my" Master, is not a small thing for these slaves. The Master must also be aware of the fact that these slaves, by their very nature and the fact that they waited so long to make their decision, that these slaves are adventurous and have courage to face their own decision and convictions. This Type of slave can be a very strong slave; meaning that they do not generally make decision lightly, so You are getting a slave with a head on its shoulders and more likely than not, one that has common sense. These slaves will not be as much work for a Master as the Type II and Type V slaves because these slaves have made a conscious decision and know what they are getting themselves into. They want it, it is time for them and they know it. Despite their initial doubts while going through the motions of making their decision, they press on out of the sheer need to make a decision.

Personally I believe that these are some of the most valuable and sought after slaves. It is My firm belief that when a Master goes after a "pretty boy" or "boy toy" that is all looks...that is all the Master is likely to ever get...great body, good looks, maybe even a big dick...nothing between the ears. However, the slave Type V can be a real catch for the Master who can handle the older novice slave. You will find that these slaves are willing and more than ready to serve...they have had a lot of years to figure shit out and generally by the time they get around to acting on their decisions, they truly know what they want.

slave Type 6 - Objectification slave (or/ The Bitch, Whore)

This slave type represents what may well be labeled an anomaly. These are the slaves that need objectification. These slaves are almost as rare as the Type 3 slave. This slave is a man who like slave type 3, has a very clear understanding of who and what they are as a human being. They maintain a very clear connection to their need to be a slave and serve a Master. However, this slave believes that it is lower than most men. Their understanding is that they are on this planet for one purpose and one purpose only: To serve a man who treats them as an object. Moreover, these slaves find fulfillment when they serve a Master who, while appreciating that the slave believes it is a worthless bitch and lives only to present its body as a pleasure object for the Master to use. This may seem to be the extreme of a slave but it is not so for this slave.

The characteristics that the Master can expect with this type of slave is varied. This slave will almost have no egoo-based issues. It is not that these slaves have a low self esteem, although that may be the case, these slaves have the mindset that they are truly lower on the scale of human existence, whereby they will exhibit a very quiet demeanor and thrive on being treated as sub-class humans. Detachment from thier own bodies is not unusual. These slaves feel almost seperate from their bodies as though they are living in a body that is not theirs, which is why they have this sense of detachment.

Many of these slaves refer to themselves with labels such as slave bitch and whore and many other words that in general will tell a Master that this slave considers himself a worthless piece of shit. However, do not take this so literally. With these slaves there is a fine line between truly being a worthless bag of shit and actually being a worthless sack of shit. Most people will not understand this slaves need to be low; to consider themselves as untouchables like the castes of India. They know their place and they consider that place to be the lowest form of humanity. Their purpose is to experience total giving of themselves and their bodies. They want to be used.

Some of these slaves crave being abused; crave experiencing total use of their bodies. For whatever their reasons these slaves experience a form of purpose and usefulness by allowing themselves to be manhandled; to be made to bear both physical and mental pain. Do not underestimate the strength these slaves have. They truly love being made to suffer to some degree. However, they are not superhuman, which is to say that they will break down and so the Master owning one of these slaves must be cautious and judicious when treating these slaves abusively. For some Masters this slave will perform admirably and be easier to train than other slaves. However, the Master must also give this slave attention and by attention I mean that this slave will need to feel useful to its Master.

What a Master must realize with this type of slave is that it possesses almost no ego, which of course is impossible, however, the ego of these slaves is very muted. The demeanor of these slaves is generally very meek. The voice of the slave is meek and soft. For no apparent reason these slaves will appear to cower before their Masters. I knew of one slave that whenever he found himself before his Master he could not stand and immediately would hit the floor on all fours with his head bowed. Again, I must stress, do not make the mistake of underestimating the power that this type of slave holds in his spirit. While they may appear meek and worthless, it is the feeling of worhtlessness; of feeling lower than other men that provides them with their strength and power and it is what keeps them going. These types of slaves are extremely rare.

Lastly, do not be confused by the slave who really is a worthless sack of shit. Some slaves who advertise themselves by using self deprecating words may appear to be a slave that desires true objectification but they are not. So a Master must use caution when seeking a Type 6 slave that there are many imposters out there. The true Type 6 slave will likely live a more isolated life than most of the other slave types. They will have few, if any, real friends. Although they will most likely be employed, they generally have jobs that allow them to remain somewhat isolated. Characteristically they appear to be shy people who don't talk very much, but it is not that they do not have anything to say. Typically introverted, these slaves will inure themselves to a Master who makes them feel safe and useful and that they are serving the lowly purpose of a sex slave, bitch whore who brings satisfaction to a Man that he considers much higher in the pecking order than himself.

These slaves will seek a Master who understands how the slave thinks of himself and appreciates that the slave absolutely needs to be used but at the same time he will feel safe under the Master's care. I know this sounds like a dichotomoy, but it is not. These slaves want to feel that they will be cared for and caring for these slaves means that the Master will use them, but also insure their safety and well being.

 

Hopefully this article helps both Masters and slaves to discover not only themselves but each other. This article is presented merely as an opinion.
