The call of the authentic slave is for control and structure. Unlike the submissive, the authentic slave experiences a
real "need" for the control and structure of a Master. However, providing the structure and control that a slave requires
is not always an easy task for the Master. Most Master's refer to it as "slave training." In My experiences over the years
the use of the term "training" is blown out of proportion and has developed into somewhat of a myth.
The two elements that must exist in order to "train" a slave is first, patience and second, the
Master must be able to teach. A lot of Masters can bark out orders to a slave, but this only teaches the slave that
it is merely subject to a Master's sudden whims, needs or desires without teaching the slave any structure. Master's without a good foundation of self-awareness will
have a difficult time teaching a slave. The more competent and self-aware the Master is the easier it is for the slave to
learn. Just because you are a Master does not make you a teacher. The less experience a Master has had with slaves and
understanding the slave passion, the more difficult it will be for Him to teach a slave.
Being Aware of Control
The Master/salve relationship is the most control-oriented of all realtionships. Master's can achieve a much higher
level of control if they are more aware of the control they have rather than just being in control. Awareness is the condition
that allows a Master to step beyond mere ownership of a slave into a sense of utlimate control not only of Himself but of His slave.
Most slaves already understand the concept of giving up control of their lives to a Master. However, many times a Master is
really unprepared to take control. Taking control and issuing orders are actually quite unrelated things. Again, the main
difference between an authentic slave and a sub is the control. A slave understands that choosing a Master means they will be
expected to give up complete control of everything in their lives. Subs usually bristle at this idea because they do not have the
same appreciation or understanding that giving up complete control of everything is freedom. A sub generally believes freedom to
mean that they retain control of their lives while submitting to a dominant partner.
Catharsis Definition
In general, "catharsis" means a purging or cleansing. I believe it is apropos to use this word becuase for the slave, giving
up complete control of its life is very much a cleansing or purging of its life before he comes under the complete control of
a Master. When a Master acquires a new slave, He should think about the fact that the slave is taking a huge step by allowing
its life prior to choosing a Master to end. The prime thing a Master should be aware of that in order for a slave to feel
confident in giving up control the Master must be as clear as possible, within a timeframe, and take concrete action in order
to make His intentions specific so the slave will react in a way that the Master wants. If the transfer of control appears to
be amiguous the slave will respond in an ambigous manner. Therefore, the Master must be as clear as possible. A good rule of
thumb is that the Master should observe the slaves reactions. If the Master's attempts at controlling the slave are clear the
salve will respond in an subconcious way that will indicate to the Master that His efforts to control the slave are having a
positive affect.
There are many simple things that a Master can do in order to support His efforts to control the slave. For instance, when a
Master enters a roon where the slave is He can direct the slave to instantly kneel. The Master can then approach a slave getting
close to him and then either place His hand on the back of the slave's neck or under the slave's chin. In this way the Master
takes control of the slave's space; the affect is psychological. In My case I sometimes lightly, but firmly, grab the slave's hair
(if he has any) and pull the slave's head up to face Me. Not only do I take control of their space but I take control of thier body.
Another critical posture of control transfer is for a Master to give clear instructions to the slave. Remember, first and foremost,
You are a teacher. Remember that a newly acquired slave is undergoing a personal transformation. The more comfortable and secure a
Master can allow a slave to be, the more the slave will respond naturally to give up control. Each instruction is reinforced by
the way a Master presents Himself, expanding His control with each step. It is a process that takes time and patience. I cannot stress
it strongly enough that a Master must be prepared to instruct a slave in as many of the Master's simple requirements as possible. For
instance; how do You want the slave to stand; to sit; to address You; to walk; to behave; to ask permission to talk. These things are
simple control transfers that will provide the slave with a basic foundation and something to work on. A Master must be able and willing
to spend the time to allow the slave to position itself into his new mindset. Starting with simple things will not overwhelm the slave.
Once the slave has begun to settle in to his new Master and his new environment, a Master will take note that a true slave will begin
to expand his own services to the Master. By beginning with simple control rules, the Master will allow the slave to grow into his
new role and begin to learn the mind of the Master. The slave will begin to reveal to the Master what is in his heart by taking proactive
steps to please his Master by performing certain things the slave has observed are helpful to the Master without any prompting from
Him.
Natural Conflicts
The dual nature of our universe seems to support the idea that opposites attract which is certainly so in the case of the
Master and the slave. However, there is a natural conflict that exists between a Master and a slave. A slave's passion is
similar to a Master's passion only in that T/they both possess passion. A Master's passion is, for example, for control and
the rush of dominating another man, the slave. The slave's passion is to submit himself totally and in every respect to be
controlled. Now, what happens when a Master does not understand a slave's passion? What happens when the slave does not
understand the Master's passion? Does it matter that the slave does not understand the Master's passion? Many Master's give
very little thought to the fact that the slave may not feel very fulfilled as a slave. The more fulfilled the slave feels
about his servitude to his Master the happier the slave will be and the more the Master will enjoy His property. A Master
should never make the mistake of assuming that a slave comes ready to go and can hit the ground running. It is the Master's
place to gradually implement His brand of control and structure. slaves are not some magical brand of human being that have
the ability to read minds.
Bridging the Gap
So how does a Master bridge the gap of understanding between Himself and his slave? First and most important of all, is that a
Master must explain to the slave (especially if the slave does not have much experience) that His intention is to move slowly
and methodically. Many modern-day slaves often complain that they do not feel that things are moving fast enough for them. In
My experience, at the outset, when the slave is seeking a Master, they always tell the Master that they do not want to rush into
anything too quickly, which is certainly wise and understandable, but when the slave is then owned by the Master they want things
to happen quickly and when they don't the slave begins to question the Master's legitimacy. It can be very frustrating. The second
most important thing is for the Master to do is to observe. If a Master merely barks out orders to a slave, while an authentic
slave will do all it can to comply, the Master may not be learning a thing about the slave. The most effective way for a Master
to get to know a slave's abilities and what is in his heart is to observe the slave. In other words, allow the slave to show You
what it is capable of and he will show You what is in his heart.
At the outset, when the Master acquires a new slave, the slave is full of anticipation and excitement and happily will do anything
a Master asks of him. However, when the repetition of life sets in, slaves can, and often do, become lethargic and disenchanted with
their station and begin to question the legitimacy of the Master. A Master must be skilled at knowing when to impliment His control
and when to increase the mental pressure He places upon His slave. The mental pressure I am referring to is not a negative type in
an abusive sense; rather it is an increase of the application of the Master's control over his property. So how does a Master achieve
more control? If a Master does not have a handle on His own abilities or lack of abilities, the slave will know. If a Master tries
to hide His ignorance or His lack of knowledge and experience the slave may not respond to the Master as well as he could. A well-rounded
Master; one with experience regards His knowledge as a craft and knows how to use His skills in such a way as to teach the slave to
achieve the Master's goals of control. In My experience inexperienced Master's seek out inexperienced slaves. In this way a Master can
appear to be physically appeling and look the part and an inexperienced slave will not know the difference.
None of what I am proposing here means a hill of beans for the slave who thinks in terms of a temporary situation. If a slave is
seeking a permanent relationship with a Master, then he must be ready to commit to that. It is not a game and it should not be
possible for a slave to toy with a Master or for a slave to go into a situation thinkint that he can always get out of it if the
slave doesn't find it to be what he expected. The slave should be mature enough to understand what he is getting into. Once the
slave is under his Master's control and ownership, then the Master must use all of His powers of observation to learn about what
makes His new slave tick. How should a Master observe a slave?
Its Up To The slave
A slave must never assume that a Master must make him a slave. A slave can certainly and should count on a Master to teach him
to accept a Master's control but the slave should already know that he is a slave. Therefore, it is up to the slave to develop
himself in what the Master wants. A slave must never forget that he must earn his place in his Master's world and be as useful as
possible to his Master. So, a slave must learn to keep up with his Master's desires, whatever they may be. That is his job and his
responsibility. A slave longs to experience through their Master; to become more of a slave through their Master.
It is My experience that most authentic slaves begin their journey into slavery from the very dark quiet corners of their spirit.
Like a faint message from their most inner selves the slve experiences a sort of niggling feeling of wanting to submit in a much
deeper sense than just the occassional submissive scene with a Dom. Eventually this faint little voice becomes a loud pounding
in them that will not let up. Eventually the slave must account for their developing nature. To the natural authentic slave, regardless
of his social upbringing or his station in life, nothing else speaks to him like his desire to serve a Master becuase truly nothing
else will make any sense to him. A slave can choose to ignore its inner voice; its inner calling, but sooner or later he will inevitably
feel like: "What's the use of ignoring it." Everything else in life becomes a superfluous exercise in boredom.
It is common today for slaves heads to be filled with all sorts of garbage that they learned on the Internet. Starved for information,
a lot of slaves read things that are misleading and think that everything they read has some value to their desire to become a slave.
My original advice to a new slave seeking experience was to find a Master in the community. However, My slave gave Me another perspective
from his own experience. The slave said that he sought out other slaves to find out what their experiences were. This makes perfect
sense to Me and that is what I now recommend for the new slave. Also, the new slave should be very selective about what you read.
If the slave lives in a small community where he is isolated and does not have any choices of experienced slaves then there is only
one solution: The slave will have to rely on its contacts on the Internet which can be a dangerous place to get information. Again, be
very selective about what you read; do not believe anything that you cannot verify with someone else. If the slave allows himself to
be bound to a job or a family to the point of being the prisoner of them then his journey will be long, frsutrating and lonely. Attempting to
ignore its passion will not make it go away. The saying that "What you resist, persists." is absolutely true.
Observing the slave
When a Master acquires a new slave, He must develop the habit of being patiently observant. If You, as a Master, have found a
slave that You are happy with and want to insure that the slave will serve You for a lifetime, then You must set a firm foundation
for the slave. Being able to set a firm foundation means that You watch the slave closely and learn to observe how the slave
struggles with his submission. From Your observations You will best learn how to persuade the slave to overcome their weaknesses. In
this way the Master supports the slave and transfers the message to it that the slave is being looked after and that the Master cares
about the slave. Actions such as this on the Master's part go a long way in allowing His slave to bond with him.
A Master must always strive to be aware that none of His actions causes the slave to question his own integrity as a slave; this
will destroy a slave's resolve and ruin a slave. A Master can only expect out of a slave what He puts into building a firm
foundation. A Master must remember that a slave's focus is not only on his Master but on the enjoyment, pleasure, happiness, delight,
freedom and yes ecstacy of submission and surrender. It is up to the Master to instill into the slave His vision of what slavery is. Most
importantly is for a Master to drive home the point that slavery, His kind of slavery, is all that the slave should ever think about.
In other words, slaves can sometimes think that there should be something more. Just because a man is a slave does not mean that he
does not have an imagination and does not think. The Master needs to be able to teach his slave what kind of imagination the slave
should have...and that is the imagination of the Master. Otherwise a slave can lead himself down the dangerous path of thinking and
eventually believing that there is always some secret slave life that he is not experiencing. A Master must be able to teach His slave
to be satisfied with His form of slavery and then make it possible for the slave to find happiness in his Master's form of slavery.
Masters too can become caught up in the image that there is a better slave out there somewhere. Trust Me when I say that there
really is no such thing as the perfect Master or the perfect slave...only in one's mind does that exist. The treasure already exists and
is right under your feet; you just have to realize that it is there and that you are standing on it.
In the beginning, until a slave learns the language of its Master, the Master needs to be able to train the slave to listen. At times
the slave is so focused on pleasing his Master that he only hears certain things...orders. But if a Master trains his slave to see
behind his minds eye and see the order and how it was given then the slave begins to listen with his heart and not simply his ears.
It is important that a Master observes this by asking the slave what His order meant? If the Master's order was simply to clean the
floor, then the Master will say that. But if the Master orders the slave to do something but says it using a stern timbre in His voice
then perhaps there was something more behind the order than the slave realizes. It is not only the words that matter, it is the
choice of words a Master uses; the timbre of his voice, and the way in which He delivers His orders. These are the types of things
that a slave must be cognizant of in order for it to learn the language of the Master.
When a slave is doing a task that the Master has ordered it to, the Master should look in on the slave and see "how" the slave is
performing his tasks. Is he moving about with vigor. Is the slave humming to himself? Does the slave look intent and serious? All of
these things mean something and provide the Master with signals of what is in the slave's heart. If the slave performs his duties
in an exemplary fashion then recognize it and in some way let the slave know that You have noticed. I am confident when I say that
I have never known nor know of any case of a slave keeling over in a faint or losing his focus from a Master praising a slave for a
job well done. In fact, as a Master, it is sheer joy for Me to see a slave break out into a wonderful happy smile when he knows he
has pleased his Master. It is bonding happening before Your eyes.
